Granny 1.9 - Update

Version 1.9 is infamous for a specific bug where Granny would clip through the Jail Vent entrance. While unintentional, this bug became a de facto difficulty tweak. It forced players to realize that the Silencer is not a safety net; if Granny sees you enter the vent, her AI overrides the sound mechanics, leading to a guaranteed capture. This bug highlights the update's central thesis: Visibility kills, not noise.

: Added to the PC port to help navigate the "Darker" mode settings. It is typically found on the table in the Starting Bedroom .

Granny’s AI in 1.9 is highly sensitive to vertical sound. Dropping an object in the basement will now draw her down from the first floor much faster than in previous versions. Use this to your advantage: drop a vase in the basement, take the hidden passage to the attic, and search the upper floors entirely unbothered. Beware of Grandpa's New Sightlines Granny 1.9 Update
